Ehecatl
Ehecatl (Wind)1) is a Deity of the winds with a close relationship to Quetzalcoatl and the Ehecatotontli. He is often considered to be an aspect of Quetzalcoatl.
Because the wind blows from all directions, He is associated with all four cardinal directions. To emphasize this, His temples were designed to be round instead of square.
Iconography
Ehecatl is most often depicted as a human with golden hair, including a beard, and a red buccal mask (covering the lower half of His face) that's shaped like a long, toothed bird's beak with a stubby, protruding nose that may resemble a whistle. Sometimes His face goes uncovered.
