Tlazolteotl

Tlazolteotl (Tlazolli God)1) is a God of filth, illicit sexuality, and purification. She is also known as Tlaelcuani (She Who commits dirty deeds)2), Tlazolmiquiztli (Death caused by tlazolli), and Ixcuina or Ixcuinan (Huastec: Ix Cuinim, Deity of Cotton), the latter of which refers to a quadripartite association of four sister Deities.

She is said to inspire vice and transgression, and also to forgive and cleanse those who partake. Her priests offered services of confession and purification which could only be undertaken once in someone's life, meaning the rites were most common for the elderly.
